I finally decided to mount a 19″ LCD monitor on top of my corner sound wall and extend my PC’s desktop to it. Now I can just drag my copy and scripts over to this monitor and get to work. The bracket angles down nicely, and of course you can change the font size as needed, so it’s very easy on the eyes… and neck!
Another benefit is that I can drag the “VU Meter” applet from Adobe Audition over to this screen to keep an eye on my input levels since I can’t see the primary monitor from this corner. And of course, you can make all of the edits, notes, and enhancements you want to the digital copy without making a mess or wasting paper.
I honestly don’t know why I didn’t do this a long time ago!
Bonus! Having this monitor over here also allows me to watch a video that I’m voicing for or over-dubbing. Sweet! 🙂
